• High-strength overlay plating with reduced thickness to improve fatigue properties.
• Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to improve bearing lining support and facilitate retention in the housing.
• Higher crush for better bearing retention.
• Elimination of flash coating on bearing backs to improve heat transfer through them and maximize grip between bearings and their housing.
• Greater eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high revs and favor hydrodinamic oil film formation.
  
• 3/4 grooved main bearings to optimize load surface and oil flow to rod bearings.
• Tight and consistent wall tolerances to maintain uniform clearances.
  
• Enlarged ID chamfers on bearing edges, where necessary, to accommodate wide fillet radii on high-performance crankshafts.
